Trail maps are provided at both entrances to the trails.

Parking and Trail Access is FREE … it is our way of giving back to community so that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy the peace and serenity that natural surroundings provide.

Trails are mowed weekly in the summer and groomed regularly in the winter when conditions allow.

Greystone TRAIL MAP

TRAIL ENTRANCES and PARKING

Public Parking area (opposite 504785 Grey Rd 1)

  • Open year-round and cleared regularly in winter
  • Space for 6-10 vehicles (ideal for meeting up with hiking groups)
  • Location of a IVDAARA “FREE LIBRARY” (lending, trading, sharing paperback books); compliments of the local Ratepayers’ Association
  • GPS coordinates:    N4’46.302   W080’53.510

Cattle Trail entrance (opposite 504747 Grey Rd 1)

  • Space for 1-2 vehicles (only in the summer)
  • This entrance is not cleared of snow; it is groomed
  • This is the SNOWMOBILE ENTRANCE with permission only 
    We are no longer part of the OSFA trail system
    Please contact us in advance so we can describe the route to you
    Please stay only on route described; the rest of the trails are for people walking, hiking, skiing and snowshoeing
  • NO ATVs* at any time

NOTES:

OPEN DAILY from dawn to dusk. For your safety, please allow time to return to the parking area before dusk.

Be hiking smart … wear proper footwear and attire; bring water & phone (note: phone service varies depending on your provider and where you are on the property)

Trails are for recreational HIKING and winter activities (snowshoe, cross-country ski) only

You may ride your bicycle entering from the public parking lot only when trails are dry (normally July and August)

TRAIL #15S (Escarpment South) IS CLOSED IN WINTER SEASON

TRAIL #13 Extension (between Inner Loop West and Big Rock Trails) is ROUGH CUT ONLY; use caution

Please … no horseback riding.

NO HUNTING. NO CAMPING. NO GEO-CACHING. NO DRONES.
